Haywyre is still relatively new to the game but don’t mistaken Martin Vogt for a rookie. Vogt has been playing piano for over 14 years and has been releasing music as Haywyre since as early as 2009. The project is a fusion of contemporary electronic with traditional classical and jazz styles and he was propelled into the spotlight when this Smooth Criminal cover went viral.

Hywyre’s compositions are heavily focused around piano improvisation giving Vogt the freedom for true creativity and expression throughout his performances. In the past he toured with Zedd and Gramatika which helped craft him into the truly impressive pianist and producer he is now. Don’t miss him when he stops The Canopy Club next Wednesday!
